For sure, qww.mieszkajmy.pl isn't a perfect place to share my equestrian hobby, but I have to start somewhere, so I thought that "Nieruchomości - dyskusje ogólne" category will be ok.

Matter for several riders. Some riders don't feel the necessity to utilize them and
consider them an unnecessary attachment, while some cannot imagine functioning
without them. What's the truth? In case you decide to utilize a rug, which one would be
acceptable for your horse?

It is true that within their
However,
we need to note that horses functioning in horse riding do not possess the exact same functioning circumstances as the horses living in their natural habitat. To start with, horses training under the saddle are often shaven, which damages
their natural protective coating against low temperatures. Most time when it is cold outside, these horses invest indoors, where they are not subject to low
temperatures. Even the matter of another diet is crucial here. That is precisely why we cannot expect them to possess the immunity their free brothers possess. While
altering the horses' habits and surroundings, we need to provide them with
protection from the negative effects of e.g. weather. For that very reason we've got various types of rugs. Which kind would be most useful for your horse and
when to use it? We'll try to describe that.

In shops it is possible to come across these types of carpets:

Training -- this type of rug is put on along with a
saddle. It'll be ideal for colder days. We should mention that
training with them must not be too exhausting, because your horse could have trouble with losing heat excess from your system.

Dry -- usually made from fleece or some other
material with moisture-absorbing properties. This sort of carpets is usually
used after instruction in order to wash the horse. In shops, you can locate them as
fleece rugs.

Stable -- advocated for shaved horses. They
should protect the horse from cooling too far, but in the exact same time they
don't block air circulation, so the horse does not sweat. To be used in stalls.

Paddock -- to be used on paddocks. It will protect
your horse against the wind and rain. Made of substances easy to clean.

Rain -- it protects your horse's coat from getting
wet during rain. This kind of rug is ideal for paddocks on rainy days.
Mostly they are made to be as waterproof as possible. Normally made from mesh material. This kind of a rug is super helpful in the
summertime, in which horses are especially subject to insects' bites of all
sorts.

Winter --
carpets using padding. Usually it is possible to choose from a couple
thickness of padding for one model.

Transport -- to be used to safeguard the horse
during transportation.

Another thing would be to adjust the
Proper length. Namely, how to choose proper dimensions for your own horse. Particular manufacturers have various
size markers. You can locate letter sizes (S, M, L etc.),
centimeters, or inches. There is a principle where for components of length is the duration of the rug on the horse's back. This value is essential for choosing the proper size. Even if you have an S, M, or L dimensions, it describes the rug's span on the
horse's back. E.g. a well-known producer of equestrian equipment Eskadron claims S = 125 cm, M = 135 cm, L = 145 cm, etc.. Of course, it is best when you're able to have a look at a chart when all of the rug's measurements are cited. Then you
can make sure a specified size will suit your horse properly.

As you can
See, by employing proper rug you can help your horse in managing unpleasant
Weather, insects, or shield him during transportation. Additionally, You shouldn't overdo
The entire carpet item. Should you utilize them when they Aren't needed, you can disturb
Your horse's natural thermal self-regulation. But you need to remember
That with no rug when the weather is bad, you endanger your horse e.g. into a
Higher risk of catching a cold.
